Holiday Mantel

Our decorated mantel with red, white and green gummy bears, jelly beans and candy corn!

Infant/Toddler soft ball

This ball can easily be made in less than an hour.  I used a soft flannel material for this one and printed the free pattern from a website.  The link for the pattern is on the right side under "Categories".  Can't wait to make more of these with different fabrics!

Felt play food - Cornucopia

I found the idea for this felt food on the Family Fun Magazine site   It's all hand sewn with embroidery floss and filled with fiberfill.  It took not much time at all to make.  My 3 year old loves playing with this and putting all of the food in and out of the cornucopia.

Corduroy Stockings

Thanks to some help from my mother-in-law, I have homemade stockings!  They're made from corduroy with a brown satin lining.  I tried to make each one unique so they each have different combinations of bells, beads, and embroidery.

Candy Corn Wreath

Another craft inspired from a magazine article.  I found this candy corn wreath project in Woman's Day  I used white duct tape instead of black because I thought it blended better and looked less like duct tape behind the candy.  I originally planned on hanging this on the outside of our door but then realized bugs would probably eat the candy.  So I just hung it inside but I think next time I'll try to preserve it with a craft spray as suggested so the bugs will keep away!
